Join the "Voluntariat per la Llengua" (Volunteer for Language) program with the support of the CNL del Vallès Oriental.

Last Tuesday, May 4th, the Foundation joined the "Volunteering for Language" program, promoting linguistic partnerships, with the support of CNL Vallès Oriental.

The Consortium for Language Normalization with the basic objective of promoting the use of Catalan in all areas of society through awareness-raising activities, such as the "Voluntariat per la llengua" (Volunteering for Language) program through linguistic pairings. 

Language tandems are made up of volunteers (adults who habitually speak Catalan) and others who have a minimum level but need to practice it. This makes it easier for all people who have basic knowledge of spoken Catalan to practice it with colleagues at work who habitually speak Catalan.

At the CRAE of Santa Maria del Vallès, the first linguistic partnership has been formed between Josep, the center's director, and Rubén, an educator at the CRAE of Madrilenian origin. Both are committed to incorporating Catalan into their daily work and street life.

Could this be the first of many couples? Let's hope so!
