The Private Foundation for Agricultural Tutelage is a non-profit organization that develops various welfare and socio-educational programs for adolescents and young people at risk of social exclusion.
The CRAE Colònia Agrícola de Santa María del Vallés is a social program of the Foundation that allows for the care of young people aged 14 to 18 who are under the guardianship of the Directorate General for Child and Adolescent Care (DGAIA) of the Generalitat de Catalunya.
The quality model for service provision at CRAE is based on the Roots, Vision, Mission, and Values defined in the Foundation's Ideology and is based on:
To provide a place of residence and coexistence for all children and adolescents who, for any reason, cannot be with their families.;
Provide suitable fulfillment of protection, education, and holistic development needs for the welcomed boys.
Tea with the main objectives:
Prioritize work on autonomy and the transition to adult life with boys starting at age 16.;
Improve the integration and adaptation of newly arrived boys.;
Work on the reduction and prevention of cases of bullying and/or school harassment.;
Provide support to families and work toward family reunification as a priority;
Maintain hygiene habits in both individual and common areas;
Enhance the tracking and completion of training resources; and
Encourage boys' participation in the center's activities.
