We are proud to announce that the young people from the Housing Program and Cultivate and Educate Program of Santa Maria de Gimenells participated in the\u00a0First Training Tractor Operator Course<\/strong>\u00a0And this Tuesday, July 18th, they were presented with their diplomas.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

An initiative of Raimat Lleida Community Foundation<\/strong> with the collaboration of John Deere, Vicens Dealership<\/strong>, The Borges Blanques Agricultural School,<\/strong> the Department of Climate Action of the Generalitat<\/strong>, and the United Way Foundation.<\/strong><\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n

It was a training focused on enabling students to do a Efficient, safe, and mechanically friendly basic tractor driving<\/strong>, three most valued in the hiring of tractor drivers.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

During the training, the young people had no prior knowledge of tractor operation and had to opportunity to experience it before in your driving<\/strong>. During the course, The students presented themselves as willing, with a positive attitude, and paid attention to the theoretical explanations despite the language difficulties.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Driving exercises accounted for 80% of the sessions, were conducted on a personalized basis, and the young people were very motivated.
