Who are we?<\/strong><\/h3>

The Private Foundation for Agricultural Guardianship is a non-profit entity, registered under number 1077 in the Registry of Private Foundations of the Department of Justice of the Generalitat de Catalunya.<\/p>

What do we do?<\/strong><\/h3>

Different are developed\u00a0Welfare and socio-educational programs for adolescents and young people at risk of social exclusion since 1928.<\/strong>
The Foundation's objective is to implement dignified and quality support, promoting the person's autonomy.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t

Origins<\/strong><\/h3>

In 1928, Doctor\u00a0Ramon Alb\u00f3\u00a0<\/strong>(1871-1955), a renowned jurist from Barcelona, founded the Obra Tutelar Agr\u00e0ria (OTA). It was a\u00a0non-profit organization that aimed to serve neglected and socially excluded children.<\/strong><\/span><\/p>

To achieve this goal, Dr. Ramon Alb\u00f3 created a network of family homes and agricultural colonies to offer children in situations of high social vulnerability a healthy life in a rural environment and, at the same time, future opportunities.<\/span><\/p>

Its objective was to create a series of modern institutions and to drive necessary legislative changes to prevent children from being sent to correctional facilities.<\/span><\/strong><\/p>

Currently, the Foundation has two agricultural colonies, Santa Maria del Vall\u00e8s, in Lli\u00e7\u00e0 de Vall (Barcelona), and Santa Maria de Gimenells (Lleida).<\/span><\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
